IGN: Halo: Nightfall is Microsoft and 343 Industries' second attempt at bringing the Halo universe into live-action. But whereas its predecessor, Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, generally impressed despite its limited budget, Nightfall is a less satisfying viewing experience. Neither the increased budget nor the involvement of executive producer Ridley Scott do much to bolster this project. Nor does the Blu-ray release greatly enhance the overall experience.
