CB: Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo! Walt Disney Studios can breathe a collective sigh of relief and pass out the cigars. Their latest live-action adaptation of a Disney animated classic has smoked the competition. Kenneth Branagh's Cinderella pulled in $23M on Friday and is now expected to bring in $70.5M for the weekend. If that figure holds up, Cinderella will have the 13th best opening weekend for a Disney film - slightly better than 2004's The Incredibles ($70.4).

i heard a lot of good praises from cinderella lately and i am happy that at last disney made a strong live action adaptation, from malificent to snow white, beauty and the beast most of the films that came out in the previous years were bad, rotten and mediocre at best.
