He inspired scientists to pursue exploring the wonders of space and taught us it was ok to be a social outcast. As Spock, Mr. Nimoy became the emotionless and loyal half-Vulcan. His acting on screen melted into a realism that showed viewers his phenomenal talent. Star Trek is Star Trek because of Spock and Leonard Nimoy’s performance.
