I got the chance to chat with the multi-talented Tanner Beard about his time as Executive Producer on the latest Terrence Malick film Knight of Cups. Malick brings his spiritual effervescence to the vapid decadence of Hollywood, and the results look to be distastefully incandescent. Tanner Beard provides Malick what he needs to deliver on that vision. But he also acts, writes, and directs. Outside of Knight Of Cups he’s got a Western, an animated feature, a Christmas Comedy, and a couple documentaries on the back burner. But he’s thankful to stay so busy in an industry he loves, and it was a pleasure to discuss the details of his career.
