WC: Sony clearly have no idea what they’re doing with Spider-Man. Sam Raimi’s trilogy of films started off strong, before dropping off a quality cliff into a terrible movie ravine with the final instalment. So precipitous was the descent, they decided to just junk the whole thing and start again with The Amazing Spider-Man reboot, which has already disenfranchised fans within two movies.
