This morning brings the first official movie poster (not just artwork) for Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron and it brings everyone together into one incredbly cluttered shot...
It's supposed to feel overwhelming and cluttered
Exactly. Ultron and his hundreds of controlled androids are bearing down on the Avengers, so it's supposed to be cluttered and busy.
Just feels like a lot of photoshop. I've seen some fan posters that didn't seem this messy.
That Empire cover was horrible, but I have to disagree with you here. This one is MUCH better.
That empire one was bad. It looked like a cheap photoshop done by a fan in a few minutes. The lighting on a few of them looked way off. I agree this looks better but still looks a bit off. I can't put my finger on it!
I like it, but it should show QuickSilver running, since his special power is speed.
It's like "merica is holding Iron man in a very romantic way.
Poor Mark Ruffalo. He's billed 3rd and doesnt even get his face on the poster while people whose names arent even on that top list get on it.
I don't think it's bad at all. The only weird thing to me is how everyone's character is in an action pose and Nick Fury looks like he's posing for his rap album cover.
Indeed, it is. I've seen fan art better than this.
yall are getting too damn picky over the damn art work of an poster. but yes the one at comic con was better. and if you all whinny about too much stuff is going on wait until infinity wars
I'm seeing a lot of disagrees but no real argument for those disagrees? I personally do not like this poster, I see where they are coming from with it but it doesn't really hold its own identity in the saga. I do feel that it is too clustered and that the same thing could have been ahcieved in a cleaner sense. Pee are right to point out that various fan posters are cool, but this is their story and they will rotary it who they see fit. We just have to sit back and decide if we liked it or not.
i saw this a few days ago and it looked bad that i thought it was some fan made poster. it just looks poorly done and hobbled together in photoshop by someone that shouldn't be using photoshop
Its not that bad...
since its going to be a awesome movie, they should have made the poster look epic not generic and just ok. a fanboy could have done way better and way more artistic anc classy.
