Variety:
Jay Roach(“Recount”) will direct action-comedy “Mad Dogs” for Warner Bros. with “The Lego Movie” producer Dan Lin on board.
Wes Jones is adapting the script, based on the novel from “Six Days of the Condor” author James Grady.
“Mad Dogs,” published in 2006, centers on five deranged CIA killers who are forced to break out of an asylum after someone murders their psychiatrist and frames them for the deed.
Roach’s credits include “The Campaign,” “Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery,” “Meet the Parents” and “Trumbo,” starring Bryan Cranston as scriptwriter Dalton Trumbo.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
