Well, that was an unpleasant reunion for everyone involved.
During the "Major Crimes" two-part Season 3 finale on Monday (Jan. 12), a seriously familiar (and dangerous) face reappeared: Phillip Stroh (Billy Burke). That's right -- the evil serial rapist and killer that was put behind bars by Brenda Leigh Johnson (Kyra Sedgwick) on the series finale of "The Closer" in 2012 managed to resurface.
Apparently Stroh has been working on his own case while in jail -- he was a lawyer, after all -- and in the finale he hopes to give information about a murderer in exchange for a better deal and, well, a chat with Rusty (Graham Patrick Martin). Rusty, as "Closer" fans know, is the witness who saw Stroh commit murder and who then cleanly transferred over to "Major Crimes."

I hate that we have to wait now til June to see what's going to happen now that Stroh is on the run again. He really isn't on the run though because he knows how not to run, he has a plan and has always had one. He will first try to kill Rusty (never leave a witness alive), that's his motto. Six months is a long time.
