I hope there is a flashback with Hank Pym. I doubt it though from what has been said about the film.
If they wanted to feature Hank why didn't they just introduce him as the main character.
It seems like by going through with Edgar Wrights idea they've put themselves into a corner. Edgar Wrights vision for this film, a story he thought of years and years ago didn't take into account the massive Marvel universe. Back when he came up with this story it was before the Marvel Universe became as big as it is now.
It feels like this film is really a solo outing, a film which doesn't belong in the Marvel Universe created...and how can it when it was thought up when the Universe was basically nothing.
