I'm pretty happy with Colter too. Nice to see Crews is taking the news well. And even praising the studios choice. Poor ol' Josh Brolin seemed pretty butthurt when he lost the Batman role to Affleck.

Yeah...you don't want to become Batman, something which would boost your career and maybe get it out of the gutters

They need to make a separate Batman film with him in based on the Arkham games

People do some dumb moves. Tom Selleck was almost Indiana Jones. Will Smith was almost Neo. Brolin's track record is half decent but not great. Wouldn't surprise me if he really did turn it down.
