But seriously, I feel like this article just wants to hate World for no reason. It's the same series, of course they'd use similar shots.

Ha, fair point. There are plenty of other reasons not to be impressed, though. Like that dialogue.

I just thought it was fun to put the two side by side to show how the shots literally share composition and other elements. It was an interesting (if transparent) marketing technique.

If I decide I hate Jurassic World, it'll only be after I've seen it. Promise. :)

I think the world can live with a trailer rehashing a film; at least as much as any movie about dinosaurs can. What remains to be seen is the entire film doing so, and that kind of magic would be okay in my book.
