Sony Pictures Entertainment has not had a good 2014, by any means. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (Sony’s only franchise hope) backfired horribly in the face of it’s predecessor, and the vast majority of their slate for this year has been an exercise in mediocre film-making – as usual. But things really went south last week.
The Bad Boys Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) are back together for one last ride in the highly anticipated Bad Boys for Life.

Seems they really don't have much love for the Adam Sandler movies. I can;t honestly say I hold much blame to them on that though. Sony Pictures seems to be reeling right now.
Movies like Moneyball and Captain Phillips are greatly appreciated though. They might not make lots of money but they are truly great films.
Now my question is: what is "spe"?
