Variety: Jared Leto, Will Smith, Tom Hardy, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney and Cara Delevingne will make up the all-star cast of Warner Bros.’ super-villain tentpole “Suicide Squad,” it was announced on Tuesday.
Based on the DC comicbook, the story centers on the team of super villains who are given a chance at redemption by the government. The catch: Their mission will probably kill them all.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Not so sure about Will Smith or Jared Leto. Leto's got BIG shoes to fill... but the rest seem great!
Leto is fine by me, he's one of them I don't mind after his performance in Dallas Byers Club. Great actor.
HOWEVER
Will Smith as Deadshot...no...just no. It's another Johnny Storm.
Floyd Lawtonis NOT black, why get Will Smith to play him, he's basically playing him because it's Will Smith.
This proves that DC is all about "who's going to draw in a crowd" not if they are actually right for the role.
Never heard of this Suicide Squad. Sounds interesting.
DC. ha!
Jared Leto is perfect for this. I can see him committing to the role entirely and providing a new standard yet again to the character. I'm not sure about Will Smith for this. I like him, but I don't know if he's right for this movie.
