Personally, I can't recall any movies that Kevin Spacey sucked in a role. He's done sucky films, but not so much an unbelievable character for fault of his own. American Beauty, House of Cards, L.A. Confidential; heck, even Superman Returns's Lex Luthor. He's probably in my top 3 favorite actors of all time next to Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman.
