IGN:
This week's episode of Supernatural had to deliver after the Demon Dean quick fix, and it rose to the challenge. While the lack of Demon Dean should still be lamented, “Paper Moon” was packed with satisfying moments between the Winchesters and a decent monster story.
The Winchesters and their interactions finally got a chance to shine tonight. They didn't have Castiel or Crowley to compete with, and it was a smart move to leave everyone but the brothers on the sidelines. Many of Sam and Dean's conversations in the past year or so have been maddening because they lie to each other and have the same arguments all the time. I've noted my frustrations on that subject repeatedly so I want to go out of my way to compliment what happened tonight:
Dean and Sam talked without hiding things from each other.
Dinner with the Parents Review: It's a family comedy series following the Langers, who often turn their family dinners into a disruptively chaotic affair.
Bros Review: The series, as the title suggests, is about two adult men who want to behave like children and we are not here for that.
Going Home With Tyler Cameron Review: This is a simple, no-nonsense but cliched watch, with Cameron's boyish charms taking centre stage.
It was a good episode but I was so tired when I watched it that I didn't enjoy it as much as I would have if I had been less tired and less sleepy.
