John Wick lives a seemingly ordinary life. Plagued with normal people problems, like coping with the recent loss of his wife Helen (Bridget Moynahan) and driving around town with a beagle puppy, John Wick seems like the last person to be pegged as a menacing threat to anyone. And that is the mistake that Iosef Tarasov (Alfie Allen) makes when he bullies the polite middle-aged man, kills his puppy and steals his vintage 69’ Mustang. Iosef has to learn the hard way, and through his father Viggo (Michael Nyqvist), the head of the Russian crime syndicate in New York and Wick’s former employer, that Wick is the last man you want to mess with. You see, as Viggo puts it, Wick is not the Baba Yaga (the boogeyman) that everyone fears. Rather, he is the man you hire to kill the boogeyman that everyone fears.
