With Halloween fast approaching, it’s time to revisit the scariest films and television to get you in the mood for the macabre. Other articles on this site might tell you the best horror films to watch this October but before you start that Michael Myers marathon (not Mike Myers, though his films can be unintentionally frightening) stick around to hear about the king of scary TV. That is, of course, the seminal sci-fi/horror anthology series, The Twilight Zone.
A biopic about Twilight Zone creator Rod Serling is in the works, and it has now found a writer and director in Richard Kelly.
Though this new iteration of The Twilight Zone is still struggling to find solid storytelling footing, it’s had better luck in creating the kind of bizarro-world atmosphere that made the original series so magnetic.
After its premiere episode, titled 'The Comedian,' the new 'Twilight Zone' series has nowhere to go but up.
