WC: Unlike The Simpsons, many “appearances” from celebrities in Family Guy come from the regular cast.
That wasn’t really William Shatner in “I Never Met the Dead Man” – it was Seth MacFarlane. And it wasn’t Marlee Matlin trying to use MoviePhone, it was Alex Borstein (though the real Matlin later did show up on the series). But all that means is that when the show does bring a famous name in (Adam West, Patrick Stewart and James Woods are standouts) we get something really special.
