Ryan Gosling was not announced in previous article, so this is new information.

I can understand Will Smith and Ryan Gosling but Tom Hardy...you'd think they would want someone else after he was Bane.

RetrospectRealm3469d ago

I actually only understand wanting Tom Hardy. Will Smith only stands out as Will Smith in every movie he's in, and Ryan Gosling doesn't come off as some badass bad guy to me.

Tom Hardy was Bane, sure, but he was incredibly different from anything he had been before.

But Bane was covered up and had some serious voice work done. This won't confuse anyone and there's a %0 chance that Bane and whoever Hardy plays here will ever meet.

Kinda how Marvel got Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot and now has him as a potential Black Bolt for their Inhumans movie.

But ryan is not the person to do sequals unless he is a character that will be killed off?

Porcelain_Chicken3468d ago (Edited 3468d ago )

Mind. Blown.

Half-life 3 confirm... erh.. FilmWatch my bad.

And sure Gosling has a "no sequels" rule. But so does Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jim Carrey yet they've both had "exceptions". Gene Hackman and Marlon Brando did Superman "for the money". So did Ray Liotta on his VO work as Tommy Vercetti in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

In the end, money talks. Pretty good actors if i do say so myself! This should be good.

I was not aware of that about arnold huh the more I know I suppose
