John Cho Wants to be The First Asian Batman

John Cho is currently part of one of the biggest sci-fi franchises in the world–Star Trek–and one of the biggest superheroes in the world, Batman, is currently being portrayed by Ben Affleck. But, once Cho is done with Star Trek and Affleck with Batman, Cho wants a shot at becoming the first Asian Batman in history.

There will never be an Asian Batman in the films

When you have a character who has a specific ethnic background then keep them the say way. It's not like there isn't one Asian superhero is there. It's what ticks me off about the Human Torches casting, it's not like there isn't any black superheros. If Blade, Storm, Falcon, Black Panther was played by someone other then a black person I'd feel just as ticked off.

Completely agree with you. The only reason they can clear the line with a black human torch is because he isn't as big as Batman is. Batman is literally, in the top 3 heroes ever, with Supes and Spidey. Spidey has other races in comics, but those are completely different identities/characters.

i completely agree, other superheroes might be casted wrongly, however, batman is the most well known and most popular hero there is, so it would be almost impossible to cast his character in a different race because it will spell instant doom for the makers of that project it will only be accepted as a mockery but no one will take it serious.

He could make for an okay Nightwing. Maybe Red Hood if he was badass enough.
