SAN FRANCISCO—For 35 years, “Star Wars” reflected the vision of one man: George Lucas. There were no development executives at Lucasfilm, no creative committees to shape one of the most iconic creations of American pop culture. There was just “George.”

Nekki has announced that the forthcoming gun fu game, SPINE, will receive a movie adaptation to expand the franchise.
