Not really sure why you're asking this question. You don't even really answer your own question either.

If comic book movies stop making money, then the answer is simple: they will stop being made.

When you brought up how BvS was on the same date as Cap 3, I mean, I'm sure comic book fans would see both in theaters, so it doesn't really matter.

I'm really not sure how any of this hurts the industry in anyway.

It's not my finest ill admit. However I think that not everyone would see both if they had the same release date. Sure they will keep making money but the brands may start to lose credibility. As it said its more of a mad rant haha

I think it is healthy. Look at years where comic book movies are lacking, like this year. It was dud after dud, and the few super hero's we saw made bank. Even Spider-Man considered a "failure" made more money than all the movies around it.

I think comic books will remain high tickets. I mean look at books, hollywood still makes book movies and that started a long long long.... long time ago.

There's nothing bad with competition of any kind. Besides the point that, for many people, comic book movies are simply well-made and enjoyable, they bring out the best in the industry by putting talented people outside their element into new fits.

I'd never think I'd live long enough one day long ago to see Sam Jackson pick up the eye-patch for real or Robert Redford in a Marvel movie. It's a genre as iconic as Sesame Street, you just gotta do it. And it's worked out for the better.

how is it bad when it makes money, eventhough some films are directly pitted against each other i to believe it is a healthy competition and it is good for the industry, this generation is probably the golden age for comic book movies.
