I don't understand how hard it is to make a good movie that's actually scary. The last actually good scary movie i saw was a asian film 2 years ago. The only movie that still stands as the greatest horror movie is the exorcist.

Now days it's all thrillers, gorey serial killer movies, zombie flicks, or shitty possession movies with unnecessary effects that are not scary at all, and redundant jump scenes. The conjuring was decent but not that scary. I'm always searching good scary movies to watch with friends, i've been watching a lot of foreign movies which are much better. Anyone know any good ones?
