AMC announced today that it has ordered a pilot episode of a companion series for "The Walking Dead." "The Walking Dead," which premiered on AMC in October, 2010, has been the #1 program on television among adults 18-49 for the last two years. Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert from "The Walking Dead" are also executive producers of the new project which, like the original, is being produced by AMC Studios. Dave Erickson ("Marco Polo," "Sons of Anarchy"), who co-created and co-wrote the pilot with Kirkman, will serve as an executive producer and showrunner.
Dinner with the Parents Review: It's a family comedy series following the Langers, who often turn their family dinners into a disruptively chaotic affair.
Bros Review: The series, as the title suggests, is about two adult men who want to behave like children and we are not here for that.
Going Home With Tyler Cameron Review: This is a simple, no-nonsense but cliched watch, with Cameron's boyish charms taking centre stage.
I would absolutely LOVE for this series to follow Lee and Clementine from the Telltale Games series.
I hope they follow a group in the UK, that would be great. It could have a 28 Days vibe to it.
YES!
I seriously hope this runs when TWD isn't on. Waiting all summer for it to come back on is painful. If they ran it during summer they'd have absolutely no competition and would probably dominate ratings.
Or maybe just reboot the whole series and hire the writers from the Telltale games?
