Hmm, on the part of the interview that says "Oh, that's interesting. Really interesting." when he replied to the interviewer talking about how Heath Ledger reinvented the Joker into a terrifying character. Everyone on the planet (especially Hollywood) knows about this performance. His death was months before the release of the film and Hollywood was blown away with his role. Eisenberg is playing dumb and I like it lol. It almost comes off as condescending and as if he is intellectually above such comments. Sort of Lex Luthor-ish. This also implies that he is reinventing the character in a similar way. I think that's great because I want to see a new interpretation of Lex for the 21st Century. I don't want an old fat bald millionaire with a cigar and a glass of whiskey sitting in a leather chair. It's modern times and people like Lex would be evil Mark Zuckerberg types. Pun intended.

Secondly, He mentions, "We are able to discuss things at length to figure out who this person is to create a real psychology behind what it, perhaps, in a comic book, a less than totally modern psychology." That intrigues me! So Terrio has been sitting down with the actors as the script was being written, possibly dialogue that best suits the actor chosen for the role. Notice GOYER wasn't mentioned at all. He didn't even mention David Goyer, neither has ANYONE since January. This bolds well for the dialogue. I'm sure Goyer (an idea man) made a good outline draft, now Terrio is making it a great plot and character development. THANK GOD WB listened to the complaints about MoS and got a better writer to pen the script.

And finally, Jesse says, "I realize how popular comic-book movies are, and now, working on one, I realize why they're popular -- the story is really good, the dialogue is really good, the artistry behind every department is high, the acting is really good. So if they're all put together with that level of quality..." That makes me down right excited. He isn't "phoning it in" and it doesn't sound like anyone else is either. Usually actors who aren't as involved with a project and just want a paycheck (phoning it in) downplay questions. It seems like Eisenberg is embracing this role and the people around him.

I truly think we are about to get something very special.

I once said to a friend of mine back when MySpace was on it's way out and Facebook was on it's way in, "This thing is gonna control our very lives, then it'll be the death of us". I guess i hit the nail on the head. :l
