While I admit what they did use looks terrible in stills, the way they moved and looked in the movie was awesome. These though, yeah, I'd only use these if you really wanted to ruin it with the whole alien thing.

They look like something you'd see at the Cantina scene in Star Wars.
My guess is these were the inital Alien designs before they decided to go back to making them Mutants
The designs itself are pretty cool on its own, but theyre not the TMNT
