EB's Justin Ludwig writes, "Every few years a new fad blankets all facets of pop culture and sometimes that star soon burns out, but every so often something transcends into something more special, more lasting. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were very en vogue during the late 80′s/early 90′s and have survived in various incarnations to current day, which made it all the more reasonable that it was rebooted for a new movie franchise.
Unfortunately for our collective eight year old consciousness, what we ended up with was Michael Bay’s masturbatory finished product that amps up some of the minor points of the Turtles and distorts what most will remember as the adventures of four turtles that were changed forever by a misplaced bottle of mutagen."
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Definitely not the best film of the summer, but it's at least better than The Expendables 3.
I think it's worth passing on this flick until redbox release or something.
If you like TMNT I wouldn't pass on it. It was a fun film to watch! If you don't have kids or no interest in TMNT, then yeah pass on it.
Ive only seen none of the trailers and that was enough for me.
