The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were very en vogue during the late 80′s/early 90′s and have survived in various incarnations to current day, which made it all the more reasonable that it was rebooted for a new movie franchise.

Unfortunately for our collective eight year old consciousness, what we ended up with was Michael Bay’s masturbatory finished product that amps up some of the minor points of the Turtles and distorts what most will remember as the adventures of four turtles that were changed forever by a misplaced bottle of mutagen."

Definitely not the best film of the summer, but it's at least better than The Expendables 3.

If you like TMNT I wouldn't pass on it. It was a fun film to watch! If you don't have kids or no interest in TMNT, then yeah pass on it.
