‘How To Train Your Dragon 2′ Tops $500M Globally

Deadline:
After opening in China yesterday to a strong $5.6M, DreamWorks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon 2 has crossed the $500M mark worldwide to become 2014’s highest-grossing animated films. It’s also in the Top Ten grossing films of 2014 globally. Through today, the animated sequel has grossed $170.6M domestically and $331.2M internationally (which includes China). It will open in Italy this weekend so its grosses will continue to climb. More To Come

It deserves every penny of it! IF it doesn't win an Oscar for Dreamworks, honestly nothing will. (Unless they pull a Frozen and get an award for a half arsed movie the following year to make up for it)
