Luc Besson has written and directed so many high concept films throughout his career that it should no longer be a surprise when a film with his name attached to it has an intriguingly peculiar plot set-up. From directorial efforts such as The Fifth Element about a resurrected inhuman cosmic weapon in the form of Milla Jovovich to writing credits in films like Lockout which sees a man attempting to save the president’s daughter from a space station taken over by its inmates, Luc Besson’s wildly creative imagination has transitioned to film in generally entertaining ways. The latest film from the mind of Besson is Lucy, a movie that is all about the human brain and the untapped powers it contains.
