EB's Nick Hershey writes, "Everyone has heard about the original Sharknado that sent the social media world into a feeding frenzy last year. Coming to a small screen near you is its sequel entitled Sharknado 2: The Second One. Seriously, that’s the title. Airing tomorrow night at 9pm eastern on the SyFy channel, we get to watch another glorious battle between Team Shark and Team Human taking place in New York City.
Not only do Tara Reid and Ian Zierling return, but the film also added Vivica A. Fox and former Sugar Ray frontman Mark McGrath, along with appearances by Andy Dick, Kelly Osbourne, and Judah Friedlander among others.
Sure, you could just kick back with a bowl of popcorn and enjoy it like any other film, but why not have some fun with it?
We here at EB have come up with a drinking game we feel will enhance your Sharknado 2: The Second One experience. Enjoy!"
Sharknado-mania returned to Twitter over the few weeks with the debut of Sharknado 2 on SyFy July 30. Even the network executives have stated that they are surprised at the continued success of the franchise, especially considering this isn't the first time they've aired a crazy monster mash up.
If you enjoyed Sharknado, here are 7 other movies that are even more ridiculous.
TVF:
Sharknado 2 devoured everything in its path last night, including last summer's original.
According to a Syfy press release, the sequel garnered 3.9 million total viewers, a 180% increase from the first Sharknado, with 1.8 million of those households between the ages of 25-54.
It is now the most-watched original movie in Syfy history.
If you somehow missed it, Syfy will unleash Sharknado 2 again Saturday, August 2 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, August 3 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT).
The ridiculous(ly awesome) movie brings back Ian Ziering and Tara Reid from the original and also includes Vivica A. Fox, Mark McGrath, Kari Wuhrer and Judah Friedlander.
Among the more notable cameos: Perez Hilton, Biz Markie, Matt Lauer, Al Roker, Kelly Ripa, Michael Strahan, Kelly Osbourne and Richard Kind. Ironically, Judd Hirsch was a hit as the taxi driver and Robert Hayes was piloting the plane before all shark broke loose.
And in case you're wondering: yes, Sharknado 3 has already been ordere...
You know the world has gone to hell when people actually get off on this slap stick b-movie garbage.
