Comic-Con: Major Cast Exits On ‘Ant-Man’ Include Patrick Wilson

Deadline: Don’t expect Patrick Wilson, Matt Gerald and Kevin Weisman to be at tomorrow’s Marvel Studios Hall H presentation at Comic-Con. That trio has dropped out of the ever-morphing Ant-Man movie that has Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas and The Hobbit‘s Evangeline Lilly starring. The movie has been in some state of flux after director Edgar Wright dropped out over differences in creative vision with Marvel’s Kevin Feige, so not surprisingly there is speculation that the trio’s exit is for the same reason that Wright departed and was replaced by Peyton Reed. Marvel insiders adamantly dispute that.

They really need to stop this, they are obviously rushing into it now when it's supposed to be out next year. For me personally it's the one Marvel feel so far I don't have a good feeling about.

They need to rethink the story and have Hank Pym as the main character. It would be awesome if it was a prequel to Iron Man/The Hulk where we find out in the end that Hank Pym is the one who gives Nicky Fury the idea for the Avengers...least then you would see that Hank had some involvement in the formation of the Avengers.
