The Review:
Content: (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers)
The Strain definitely worked well for me in its opening extra long episode as it set the stage well for the event that happened which is going to spiral out of control in so many ways. We had several stories working through it as we get the new eyes through Eph, the experienced eyes through Setrakian and then the mysterious things going on with the organization that put all of this into motion. And, naturally, we also get the creepy factor with everything that those who died went through and the apparent survivors as well. With some of the bodies rising and returning home while those who survived were released as well, any attempt at keeping things in one place is completely out the window at this point and it’s fully on the loose. Creepy strands and all.
No Pressure Review: This is an odd light-hearted watch that is a bit confused whether it wants to paints its characters in a good or bad light.
Rest In Peace Review: This gripping thriller will captivate you from start to finish, leaving you pondering the boundaries between right and wrong long after the credits roll.
The Believers Review: Netflix's newest release is a thrilling ride with some emotional moments peppered in between.
