Industrial Revolution. Monsters. Bloodshed.
Penny Dreadful, the latest venture from Sky and Showtime should be a creepy concoction of brutal mashed up monster masses.
Through the juicy looking glass of 19th century London, Penny Dreadful explores the smokey streets and dark alleys in one of history’s most intriguing eras, with the added bonus of classic Gothic ghouls. It’s a terrific set up, but one that Penny Dreadful’s first season fails to exploit.
Dinner with the Parents Review: It's a family comedy series following the Langers, who often turn their family dinners into a disruptively chaotic affair.
Bros Review: The series, as the title suggests, is about two adult men who want to behave like children and we are not here for that.
Going Home With Tyler Cameron Review: This is a simple, no-nonsense but cliched watch, with Cameron's boyish charms taking centre stage.
Who approved this? It doesn't have a tag for the show nor does it have the reviewing site's name in the title.
