Daredevil Netflix Universe To Initially Standalone, But Could Interweave Later

Good. While I love the idea behind the shared universe stuff, I think some of their smaller projects need to find legs to stand on before connecting to everything else.

I think that was part of the problem with Agents of SHIELD. It relied too much on it's connection to the films, that it didn't feel like they were carving it's own path.

DO you think, in all honesty, that Daredevil can make it? I want it to, but I;m not sure.

If Batman can make it after getting grass graped by Joel Schumacer in 2 terrible movies then Daredevil can survive 1 mediocre movie by Mark Steven Johnson.

Especially considering how they're practically the same character. All Affleck jokes aside they both have pointy bits on their head. Use grapple guns & martial arts. They went into crime fighting due to a death in the family. Fear is the main theme of their very character. They both have an insane bad guy with a target on their face who claims to never miss (Deadshot, Bullseye) etc.. lol So yeah DD can definitely work.

I think he can if handled correctly. Of all their heroes, he needs to be more grounded, however. Make it more "human" than meta-human and I think they could do some really awesome stories with this.
