Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is the sequel to the excellent Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and picks up the tale of Caesar and his intelligent apes ten years after the conclusion of the original. Just like the first Apes reboot, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is a masterpiece in storytelling and emotion that manages to get you to fully buy into a world of CGI apes as if they were the actual human actors portraying them.
