CINEMA BYTES REVEWS: “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” is everything you’d want in a summer movie mixed with everything you’d want in the prestige award-contending films that open at year’s end. Director Matt Reeves (“Cloverfied”) has taken an exceptionally written screenplay (by Mark Bomback and Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver) and turned it into one of the year's finest films by focusing on what makes movies great: story and characters.
Rest In Peace Review: This gripping thriller will captivate you from start to finish, leaving you pondering the boundaries between right and wrong long after the credits roll.
Inspector Rishi Review: Amazon Prime Video's horror-mystery series, starring Naveen Chandra, is mysterious and thrilling, as promised.
Testament The Story of Moses Review: The series depicts Moses' journey from an outcast and murderer to a prophet and liberator of the Hebrews. It interweaves docudrama and interviews, to present a more humanly image of the prophet.
I hear folks are loving this movie a little less now that it's out, but a 70 ain't bad at all even if it's not a 90. Wonder if they'll have the reboot come full circle and go to the timeline of the Heston film. Hear the next one's JUST entitled Planet of the Apes.
