I hear folks are loving this movie a little less now that it's out, but a 70 ain't bad at all even if it's not a 90. Wonder if they'll have the reboot come full circle and go to the timeline of the Heston film. Hear the next one's JUST entitled Planet of the Apes.

I'm excited to see how it's going to turn out. It would be great if it did come full circle. If they do end up making a "Planet of the Apes" remake, I hope it's faithful to the original source material and not like that ill-advised Tim Burton film. But this new franchise has been so smart thus far. I'm not sure they'll do something as simple and as predictable as a straight-up remake. But I cannot wait to see what happens! Andy Serkis has been spectacular in this role!
