If they down play the T-Rex again like they did in JP3. To hell with this movie. I'll catch it on Netflix. The T-rex is Jurassic Park. And also, get rid of the skinny raptors with Mohawks. Bring back the scary ones from JP1 that looked like they were always smiling.

The interview mentioned genetically-modified(strange since the vanilla dinosaurs themselves were also GM) uber monsters. This reminds me of Dino Crisis 3. We might be seeing raptors with not just Mohawks but sporting all manners of body modifications. Or a T-rex+Raptor+Spino+Triceratops hybrid.

I was a 7 year old kid when I saw the first Jurassic Park in the theatre, and yeah, the T-rex scenes were awesome. The lightning storm, the darkness, kids trapped in a car, T-rex roaming around... It was awesome and from that day onwards I was a dinosaur freak.

Now for a sequel, one has to decide, are we going to try to make a blatant rehash, or are we going to do something totally different? The answer was that Crichton's sequel Lost World was something very different, yet very good. For the third part, they tried to innovate again but with a more childish and simple approach.

Here's the thing: I don't think it's possible to recapture the magic of JP1. So they have to try something different. The kind of different mentioned in the news article is not the kind I want to personally see but I also don't have a clear idea what would be a good route to continue.

Velociraptors were only a few feet tall and had feathers. The original Jurassic Park got it all wrong. I didn't bother with the sequels so I have no idea if they tried to rectify the situation (not by the look of that picture). There were big raptors though, so they could just include one of those.

True, velociraptors were very small and feathered.

I think Crichton chose to call his big raptors Velociraptors because that sounds cooler than the names of large raptors like Utahraptor or Deinonychus. In the film and book they are even excavating the remains of the velociraptors in Montana even though velociraptors are only known to have lived in central Asia, whereas Deinonychus and Utahraptor specimens have been found in North America.

More animatronics, less CGI, please.
