When Stallone announced PG-13 as being the likely rating (and doing it conveniently behind Cannes theatrics so that less would notice), he seemed to stop just short of confirming it outright. After the nuclear uproar over The Expendables 2 PG-13 leak, I'm sure that was deliberate caution, just incase...
Well the uproar this time around was nowhere near as intense. They've gotten away with it. Here's the official rating: "Rated PG-13 For violence including intense sustained gun battles and fight scenes, and for language."
