IGN - With the U.S.S. Nathan James inbound for Guantanamo Bay, The Last Ship's second episode "Welcome to Gitmo" assembled an away team on dry land for the very first time. More importantly, though, it allotted a bit more time for the crew to breathe and get their bearings after the devastating events that transpired in the first episode. Really, the whole first act was centered around the characters and their emotional states, which was a nice change of pace after the pilot's wall-to-wall action.
