EB's Matt Heywood writes, "Game of Thrones’ eighth episode of season 4 is titled “The Mountain and the Viper,” and it features a fantastic narrative set against some of the most brutal violence to be showcased in all four seasons of HBO’s primetime series. The title is more than an appropriate foreshadowing of the episode’s final scene, which is a doozy if you don’t know what’s coming. For the most part “The Mountain and the Viper” only featured minor differences from Martin’s novels, but there were definitely some noticeable changes, which you can read about below. There were a few spot on scenes as well, with the battle between Oberyn and The Mountain playing out almost exactly the way it did in A Storm of Swords.
You can head on down below to get a quick-cap of the show, and to find out what was different, and what was similar in “The Mountain and the Viper.”
City Hunter Review: The manga adaptation unravels the tragic beginning of Ryo Saeba and Kaori Makimura's partnership.
Deliver Me Review: The Swedish series follows two troubled teen and their troublesome lives when one of them is shot dead.
Fight For Paradise Review: This reality show is nothing new but there are so many uncomfortable moments that will definitely give you the ick.
What a great ending.
That episode was brutal! Best episode of this season.
