It's Time For Hugh Jackman To Hang Up Wolverine's Claws

CB

Let me preface this by saying that I love Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, and his portrayal of the legendary mutant in X-Men: Days of Future Past. LOVE HIM. His turn in X-Men is his best, yet. I even said that in my review of the movie.

Can't imagine Wolverine to be anyone else it's gotta be Hugh Jackman.

Agreed. Not only does he fit the role well but he loves and respects the character. Pretty damn cool. And his level of commitment is almost uncanny (hehe).

Sadly though it's gonna happen. The man is almost pushing his 50's.

I say otherwise. The older he gets, the more he fits into the role in my opinion. In the comics Wolverine isn't some outgoing jackarse like people want to believe.

He is kinda of kept to himself, has a lot going through his head, and makes smart remarks all the time. Then when he is "mad" he rips things to pieces. Jackman is doing this absolutely perfectly.

That and if you take him out, you have to replace him.... and that sounds scary....

I'd kind of like to see them just reboot the whole franchise. That's kind of what they did with DoFP, but I think they should go even further. So much has been botched in the X-men universe, but surprisingly they haven't touched on a lot of villains. Save it for the reboot!
