Raunchy comedies used to have a very simple demographic target- young people in their late teens and early twenties. There’s been bleed over; younger teens that would need to sneak in and adults that still enjoy a more juvenile brand of comedy. In recent years that trend has changed as more and more risqué comedies have been aimed at audiences in their thirties, forties, fifties and beyond. Neighbors is an attempt to bridge the age gap between kids in college, their parents and everyone in-between.
