CB: Amazing Spider-Man 2 opened at the U.S. box office this weekend with a $92 million take, but some critics have complained that the film had a disjointed narrative or lacked character development. In fact, quite a few fans have noticed that several scenes from the promotional trailers didn’t make it into the final film.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
This is what happens a lot nowadays.
Release an incomplete movie, have people pay full price for it, movie turns out to be not as good as it could (and thus should) have been (obviously, it's been butchered...)
... then release the butchered movie on DVD/BR, watch it sell again.
Wait a while.
Then finally release the version that should have been released in the first place, and call it a 'director's cut', so once again, it will sell.
Artistic integrity apparently holds no value if you can simply milk your fanbase dry with butchered releases.
