10 X-Men Movie Spin-Offs We Want To See

TF: According to X-Men: Days Of Future Past writer/producer Simon Kinberg, Wolverine isn’t the only mutant who deserves his own movie.

“I love what Jen Lawrence has done with [Mystique],” says Kinberg, “and I feel like because she is in such a crowded ensemble, there’s so much more opportunity if you were to follow her solo.” It might seem like there isn’t much of J-Law’s naked blue shapeshifter that we haven’t already seen (so to speak) – but few characters in the X-verse have got quite so much potential for a spin-off.

Do you want Marvel films to continue to succeed? If they released even a couple of the titles you are suggesting they would fail. I could see them making a spin off of other teams and groups within the Marvel universe, but making a film about a background character (and yes a few you listed were) is certain to bomb.

But hey, to REAL Marvel fans they have already changed too much of the characters and stories that it is nowhere near authentic, so they can do whatever they want. It will never be true Marvel.

i do not mind having x men spin offs but i also do not want it to be altered to much, i prefer that the character would be substantially the same like the comics. marvel is using to much style on the characters. if they are going to make spinoffs then they should take characters with rich background and interesting origins, characters like wolverine, captain america, hulk, ironman could easily make a 2 hour movie interesting but how about storm, gambit, shadowcat..i think they cannot unless marvel dives into creative license to make a story out of it. some characters could be presented as a team.

for me the x men franchise is underachieving, i know some of its films are good but they could have been as big as avengers or batman films. they have very interesting characters, have even better storyarcs in the comics than the avengers and yet the best film they can produce was x men first class wherein i read an article that the film was done fast, they could make it more better.

i think the spinoffs would only hold them back they should make movies based on the comics, present the x men as a TEAM. look what whedon did with the astonishing x men, thats how it should be done.
