Agent Coulson Thinks You're a Loser

8CN: Have you given up on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Well, if you have actor Clark Gregg (Agent Coulson) has put you in an unflattering category. "Those aren’t geeks. Those are losers," He says. Gregg, a self-proclaimed geek himself, is fully invested in the arc of the show and urges the audience to be patient. Fan expectations that the Avengers would occasionally be dropping in on the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. have led to some acrimony between the show's staff and the audience. Says Gregg about fans expecting Iron Man to show, "You know what? He’s not. I love Robert [Downey Jr.] — not coming by anytime soon."

We've been patient, we are up to like episode 13 now and theres still nothing going on. Lets not forget despite being this far in, at the half way point by the way, the characters havent got any better. They are horrible and are not funny. The only ones I like to be honest are Coulson and Maria who was in the first episode

In my opinion, and this is based on what could happen in The Winter Soldier with SHIELD collapsing or something, the team should of consisted of two people like Mulder and Scully in the X Files. You would have an organization who work in pairs, like the Men in Black, who solve cases they've been assigned and to cover things up...you get my drift, these two people should of been Agent Coulson and Agent Maria Hill who has been paired up with Coulson to keep an eye on him after what happened to him. You could of seen the relationship between them two grow over the season but instead we get a team full of bad actors with no chemistry.

If the show was just Coulson and Maria then we could of slowly added in more characters with cameo appearances and when we got to a character the audience enjoyed in the first season they could of made them a part of the show by season 2.

I just think at the end of the day with Clark Gregg being a professional actor he should be more mature about this, if the audience aren't investing in the show and think it's not good 13 episodes in then it's not us, it's the show and he should be angry with them instead. If this was only the second episode in then fair enough but we are long past that.

This series should of just followed a two character approach with them working as a team going around solving cases and for season 1 it should of been much shorter, like 13 - 15 episodes, so they could get people like RDJ, Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson for example to cameo to get the show going.

It really bugs me though that they are doing this cross over thing with the TV series and the Films where you'll have episodes which could link onto a future film or vice versa. It's unfair on those who don't watch the series, you know it's not our fault as an audience that it's not interesting enough for us to watch it. In my opinion they failed with this and I'd rather it got cancelled so they can come up with something better. Cobie Smulders is basically free now without HIMYM so things could happen some way

Who gives a crap about a guy like luke cage. I said it from the beginning. If they don't step up and throw in some real heroes than this show will flop. The show still sucks btw.

i had high expectations for this show before it began, i even thought it would be like whedon's old show, firefly in a lot of ways but after like 5 episodes i think i gradually loss interest gradually and i do not watching it just for the sake of watching it, i did not expect and i never wanted any other avengers like ironman or hulk to show up, i just expected good character build up for shield members to show their elite organization work against high profile criminals but i never saw it and i feel disappointed because it had potential when i saw the pilot episode.
