EW: The sudden death by apparent overdose of actor Philip Seymour Hoffman stunned Hollywood and left his family, friends, and colleagues shattered. In this week’s cover story, EW pays tribute to Hoffman, widely considered the greatest screen and stage actor of his generation.

obviously capote is his most noteworthy performance as he won an oscar, i would say he was also equally good in the film; doubt wherein he played a priest, it was so convincing and natural, he had a lot of other good roles but those two films were his best.
