this can't be true because even if he broke one of his legs the treatment won't be more than 2 months you can shoot other scene without him, even if he is in every scene you are 2 months behind the schedule you delay it 2 months not one year!

He couldn't have been injured that bad because he looked fine to me when he presented the best director award at the Golden Globes.

There's conflicting reports now. Did they delay the movie because of...

A) "The studio said in a statement that it needed time to allow the filmmakers time to realize fully their vision, given the complex visual nature of the story."

Or...

B) "According to my sources, Ben Affleck has sustained an injury, and as a result Batman vs. Superman production has been pushed back six weeks. The crew was informed of that decision earlier this week, and told they’ll be on hiatus for about a month. Update: A second and third source tells me that Affleck injured his ribs, not his leg as previously reported. All three sources confirmed that the injury occurred during a skiing accident around Christmas time."

If your sources don't know if he injured his leg, or his ribs, then I would question the validity of those sources to even run the story. I choose to believe A, because it came directly from Warner Brothers. Warner Brother's don't know what they're freakin' doing and that's been very evident based on everything they've been doing so far.

If its ribs, its a little more believable. Ribs take forever to heal. Injured mine in a car accident in April, was barely getting over it in December, just got hit again (funny how im lucky with that....) and they were re-injured like nothing. The pain sucks, and at its peak you can't do anything.....

Pretty sure its just an excuse though. There is no reason they can't film other things, then utilize a thing called a stunt double for him.
