Star Wars: Episode VII Said To Feature Force Ghost Yoda & Past Jedi

Our DC Entertainment Source who has a friend at LucasFilm has sent in a couple tidbits of information with mention that Star Wars: Episode VII will feature Force Ghost Yoda.

We're told that Yoda will have words with Luke Skywalker about a rising unbalance in the force and the need to preserve the Jedi.

Really? Not only could I imagine a Star Wars movie without him, I (personally) feel that trying to shoe-horn him into every movie would be a disservice to his legacy.

Yeah I agree with blackmanone. It seems like it'd be more of a fan service attempt than an actual storytelling device that moves things forward.

So even though he is a major major very integral part of the force, which may I remind you pretty much makes up 99% of the story itself, you believe he shouldn't be included in them for that reason alone? Next you'll be saying they need more Jar Jar instead.

Yoda's great and all but I'd like to see them introduce some original and memorable characters instead of banking on nostalgia, which is basically all the prequels did.
