Terry O'Quinn Up For Lex Luthor Role?

CBM

Lost actor Terry O'Quinn is the latest name dropped as a possible candidate for the role of Lex Luthor in Batman vs Superman. He's been a popular fancast choice for the role over the years, do you think he'd make a good Lex in the Zack Snyder sequel?

I could deal with that. Loved him in Lost.

Mark Strong all the way as Lex Luther!!

anyone else will FAIL!

Mark Strong playing a bald baddie?? Isn't that typecasting a bit? We should try & be a tiny bit more original here guys.

I still think Bryan Cranston is the way to go.

Strong is a hell of an actor but I dunno about Lex Luther...He could do it but I'd rather see O'Quinn. Strong comes off as more of a "kick your ass himself" type. He just has that kinda face and aura.

Robert Downey Jr. is 48 and is arguably a waaaaaaaaaay better Iron man than his younger comic book & animated series counterpart. Surely we can have a 60 year old Lex? (Ok, ok maybe he is a bit over the limit).

My real beef with him, is that his face looks like Gene Hackman's face and Kevin Spacey's face mashed together... Wtf?!?!! Is that a requirement?

Uh with the exception of that crap Smallville show Luthor IS OLDER....They aren't even close to the same age

I thought Bryan Cranston was already cast?

Anon19743815d ago

Yeah, that's what I thought. Not only that, I thought he was locked down for the Luthor role in multiple films?

Just googled it now and saw Cranston was the one who shot down the rumors. Funny, I heard tonnes about his pick for casting, not a damn thing about him saying it wasn't true.

Kinda bummed now. Not that I'm not a fan of Terry O'Quinn, but I was looking forward to seeing Cranston's Luthor.

I like this idea. He's a very good actor and would make a fine Lex. A different one for sure. I'm tired of the same ol dudes for the same parts. Think outside of the box.
